On Sunday, we headed to Montrose (at this time, I was not feeling well at all). We also found out that Josh's great-grandma Pfifer passed away and her funeral was to be held that week. So because we were all sick, we did not go camping at all. Instead we went to the funeral, hung out with Josh's family, and went on a couple outings while we were there. It wasn't the vacation I had planned, but we made the best of it.
One day, we went to Silverjack (one of my dad's favorite places to fish and camp - we camped here a lot when we lived in Montrose). It was nice to get out, but very exhausting for me, and by the end of the ride home, I was feeling very nauseous. These are pictures of our trip to Silverjack. The lake was really low, so it was actually pretty cool. Jakai also reeled in his first fish here. It was pretty exciting for him. Anyway, this is a beautiful place!
The last night we were there, we went up on in the woods with our friends, Michael and April, and had a campfire. We ate chinese food and Michael and April made dutch oven peach cobbler and we brought the ice-cream.
